Daily Obamatude for May 30

When President Obama retained Robert Gates as Secretary of Defense, His partisan backers were aghast.  But.. since Obama’s main objectives centered on developing new ways to ruin the economy and reset American social structure, the lefties let it go.

Obama has found another use for Gates, though.  The President had to double check his job description to make sure that defending the country was included because the emergence this week of North Korea as a major threat has required attention that Obama would rather give elsewhere.  Having Gates on board provides the President with the excuse that - should something go terribly wrong - the Chosen One would have a Bush administration official handy upon whom to dump the blame.

Daily Obamatude:

Cool is Robert Gates - for he shall be My scapegoat

Daily Obamatude for May 27

After introducing liberal Judge Sonya Sotomayor as His Supreme Court Nominee, President Obama appealed to the Senate for a speedy confirmation.  There is no time to waste when going about the business of ruining the country’s economic and social structure.

The President then boarded Air Force One for a junket to Las Vegas to campaign and raise money for beleaguered Senate Majority Leader “Lighthouse” Harry Reid.  Reid it seems, is in some re-election trouble.  Being even too liberal for the Vegas counter culture, Harry Reid is appealing for support wherever he can get it. Come November 2010, Nevada voters may be pushing out ‘ol Harry to pasture with Tom Daschle.  At least Harry can raise money as a lobbyist.

Daily Obamatude for May 11

National media types were all agog over the bilzzard of Hollywood and lefty political stars that showed up for the annual Press Dinner Saturday evening. Shilling for lefties has been nothing new for Washington media, but when a fellow speaker joked about wishing Rush Limbaugh was dead, the President and the media lapdogs laughed out loud.

Daily Obamatude for May 10 - Happy Mothers Day!

Springtime is finally here!  And not a moment too soon.  With Springtime comes the first buds of conservative resurgence.  Week after week of embarrassment are starting to take a toll on CNN’s view of the Obama Presidency.  Now, with the President announcing plans for a major Middle East policy initiative - to be provided in a speech given in Cairo (yes, Egypt), the world will be watching to see if the Chosen Leader can mesmerize generations of hate out of radical Islam.  When radical Islam demands appeasement, Obama will be on their doorstep with flowers in hand.  Of course the beauty to all this is that not even CNN can make this initiative look successful.

Still… it is a beautiful day in North America - and one that should be spent with family in honor of the love and commitment Mom’s have given

Daily Obamatude for April 30

The Washington Press Corps completed its capitulation to the will of the Obama Presidency last evening by failing to ask serious questions about the economy and other important matters.    Staged in front of a national audience, Obama gave his usual speech blaming his predecessor for the number of problems that he has to confront.  Then he jumped into the frenzy of the press conference, eventually entertaining a whopping total of 13 questions.

Part of Team Obama’s strategy is to simply burn up all the air time.  That is the best way to decrease the risk of being asked a meaningful question.   The chosen media lap dogs seemed content and were allowed no follow-ups.     Emanuel’s team did a masterful job in picking uncurious journalists to administer generally easy questions.

Cool is Rahm Emanuel -  for he shall make my questions easy

Below are several pieces including obvious follow up questions that went unasked at last evenings presse fete, Senator Specters ten REAL reasons for joining the Democrat party.  Other lists include Obama’s top accomplishments in his first 100 days, and a summary of the Obamaflu virus that is sweeping the nation.

Following Senator Specter’s defection to the Democrat party, the President rejoiced last evening and seeing a clear path to change America even more radically – at least until 2010.  Then, Democrats will have no one to blame for failings of the federal government.

Following President Obama’s teleprompter gaffe yesterday - in which He apparently introduced the same folks twice - has all the media world on edge for tomorrow evening’s nationally televised press conference.  Will the President make another mistake?

Only Fox Network chose to forgo another opportunity to provide Obama free airtime to pontificate.  Instead, Fox will be airing a new episode of “Lie to Me.”  Mere words cannot express the irony.  It just might be difficult to distinguish between the two programs.  One just can’t make this stuff up.

Cool are Press Conferences - for the world shall listen only to Me!

New article below on the virus that threatens to sweep the nation.  No.. this isn’t the Swine Flu.  The Obamaflu is a neurological condition that impedes judgment, but helps liberals feel good about themselves.  Read the ten step recovery plan below.

Hoping to reap the benefits of the Obama Aplogy Tour, US Attorney General Eric Holder appealed to European nations to take custody of some Guantanamo prisoners.  European leftists vehimitely wanted Guantanamo closed and - so the reasoning went - now that Obama has made the US subservient to the European world view, Europe should be ready to do its part to redistribute the killers currently held on Gitmo.   Now.. anyone able to read history of European/US relations over the past century understood this to be an impossibility.  Obama is no doubt in shock that his oratory didn’t persuade the Europeans, and now He must figure out where to put the fanatics held at Guantanamo.  This is just like real work.  None of the Democrat intelligensia or the tenured faculty crowd were actually prepared to deal with it.

Liberals believe that they should set policies.  Lesser people should execute them.

After it was revealed that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was thoroughly briefed on the use of waterboarding as an interrogation technique, Pelosi sought to quel her part in the controversy by saying that the topic never arose in the briefings she received.   Apparently thinking that people don’t record or take good notes on incredibly important national security meetings, Pelosi thought that her status as speaker would protect her from criticism from the left.  Unfortunately for her… documentation and witnesses prove that she was aware of and understood the waterboarding methods were being used and she never raised a peep of protest.

Ignorance is a common defense used by liberals and in many instances, it is fully believable.
