The eldest statesman of the American Presidency joined congress today to provide testimony on energy policy. James Earl Carter - presider over the worst inflationary period in modern history, delivered his thoughts to Congress regarding American energy policy. Other than showing up, Carter didn’t deliver any new message other than America needs to stop importing foreign oil. He stopped short of saying that America should drill its own oil, meaning that Democrats are only going to ensure another energy crisis.
